Lèt Agogo
Lèt Agogo means "unlimited milk".
In 2005, Veterimed, the organization responsible for the project, won first prize for social innovation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean for Lèt Agogo.
“Haiti is a country where we consume a lot of milk,” said Dr. Michel Chancy, veterinarian and one of the visionaries behind Lèt Agogo.
In 2016, 21 dairies were in operation. Most of these dairies are managed and supervised by "young people." Some are former interns or students of Michel Chancy at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAVM).
Thanks to a partnership established in September 2023 with the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) and with the support of the French Embassy in Haiti, Lèt Agogo also supplies 90 schools across the country with sterilized milk.
